"Here it is, Jean-Luc," Beverly announced.

Walking over to the pill of clothes that contained the redhead and his 
communicator, he stated, "Thank you."

"No problem," Beverly stated.

Just as Jean-Luc was about to take back his posession, Beverly jerked her hand 
back out of his grasp. "You still haven't told me how you lost it."

He cleared his throat and stated, "Ensign Tia Rogers, threw my shirt in the 
laundry shoot last night."

"Ah," Beverly said, handing him his communicator. Suddenly she stated, "Um, 
Jean-Luc, isn't she young.."

"She's young enough." And with that, he walked out of the room.
